“I’d tried unlicensed tattoo shops, salons and even home treatments. Absolutely none of them compared to the strength and power of Health Counts lasers. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. My tattoos are all gone now!” * – Chris J. Sudbury
Health Counts has over 20 years of experience in laser tattoo removal, so this is an area in which we are truly expert. We’ve treated and cleared every type of tattoo over the years. In terms of equipment, we have 3 different Q-switched lasers specifically dedicated to tattoo removal depending on the colours in the tattoos.
Most people do have a host of questions and to help answer these in detail we provide a free of charge initial assessment consultation which is the best first step to take so that we can answer specific queries etc. The number of treatments needed to remove tattoos depends on how quickly you want them gone, as they will continue to fade for up to a year after being lasered. Patients pay on a cost per single treatment basis, according to the amount of time we anticipate it taking our doctor (who is also our Medical Director) to treat the tattoo, and which lasers she’ll need to use. As a very rough guide, a tattoo of 2cm x 4cm could cost between £50 and £90 per treatment but we’d always need to see your particular tattoos in the flesh to give a confirmed quote.
Because our tattoo removal lasers are powerful medical grade devices operated by doctors, we are licensed and inspected by the Government’s Care Quality Commission. This enables us to use lasers that are far more effective than the cheap lightweight third world made ones you may read about on-line or in many tattoo shops. Our lasers would thus get the job done in fewer treatments as well as providing you with the reassurance of medical indemnity.
At the free initial consultation we can explain how it works and what to expect as well as showing photos of tattoos similar to yours that we’ve treated. Blue/black is the easiest colour to remove and green is the toughest. In any case, scarring is exceptionally rare. Our Tattoo Removal clinics are held every Thursday until around 7.30 pm and some Saturdays.
