If you’re thinking about having either Wrinkle Smoothing Injections or Dermal Fillers, you’d be hard pushed to find a clinic with more experience or expert credentials than ours – we’ve provided this service for over a decade! Our Medical Director, Dr Sandy De ‘Ath, was trained in aesthetic medicine in early 2005 and has been carrying outWrinkle Smoothing Injections and Dermal filler procedures at Health Counts successfully ever since. Dr Sandy has now handed this side of her practice over to Karen Hamberg, although the two work alongside. Karen is a Registered General Nurse, a Nurse Independent Prescriber and a leading certificated Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner who is expert in the use of Wrinkle Smoothing Injections and Dermal Fillers. She has worked in London’s reknowned Harley Street carrying out thousands of successful treatments since qualifying in the injectible aesthetic field in 2008. She still conducts some regular clinics in London so she can maintain her cutting edge by being able to access and instantly implement every new technique and innovation. Working every day with other doctors and Aesthetic Nurse prescribers/practitioners means she can interact constantly to keep her continuous professional development bang up to date. Because Karen treats up to 50 patients daily, EVERY day, she is one of the few Wrinkle Smoothing Injections and Dermal Filler practitioners in Suffolk who can honestly say this is their full time profession. The results she achieves are quite simply astounding and we’re very lucky to have her on board.
As a specialist aesthetic and laser clinic, not a salon, we are also registered by the Care Quality Commission which is a rare piece of extra reassurance and security for patients these days. The CQC oversees all NHS and independent hospitals so we are being judged by stringent national yardsticks and carry full medical indemnity.
Because it’s important that you know in advance what treatment will be the most effective for you, we always provide a free of charge initial consultation with Karen. During this confidential meeting, you can discuss whatever issues you’d like addressed, facial lines and contours etc, so she can make her recommendations and suggestions. Costings will then be given so you can take your time to decide what you’d like to do. If you choose, you may be able to go ahead with treatment on the same day if you mention this when booking.
Treatments start at £180 for lip filler and £199 for Wrinkle Smoothing Injections . Health Counts only uses Wrinkle Smoothing Injections made by Allergan, which is the original version and is the only one used by the NHS. It is the most expensive of the Botulinum products because it is sifted to remove the small molecules which are more likely to migrate and therefore don’t last as long. Our prices reflect the quality of the products we use and the clinic’s immense experience and expertise, but are still incredible value for money.
